Done the wiggle test with the pin in the jack = still failing 4. Cleaned out the cache on the device = Fail 5. Started device in Safe Mode = Fail 6. Done a factory reset = Fail I still have audio through the earphones which is monstrously distorted and unlistenable.

I am resending this request for help that was first put on the net earlier this month.I have not yet found any suggestion to it, and I am still hoping that someone will kindly reply with suggestions. From William in Norway, I have a Samsun Galaxy model GT-N7100 note 2 cellular phone, which apparently by itself has changed into a mode that makes it impossible for me to phone or send text messages as it prevents me getting to the Network suppliers.
It has also disabled my pin code on the Sim card. There appears a text on the screen, which I have not been able to get rid of, and which reads thus: PDA: N7100XXUFND4 Phone:N7100XXUFND3 CSC: N71000JVFND3H/W: not active RF: call date unknown etc. SSN at back of phone reads N7100GSMH FCC ID:A3LGTN7100 What can I do to get my phone in a functioning mode again? It has not helped to set the phone back to factory mode. Instead of that helping I lost all my contacts.
