I have successfully written a very simple and effective fishing program that I will finalize and post the source code at some point later. It is only like 30 lines of code and gets the job done. It really wasn't that hard - just a couple days of coding and tweaking in the off hours. I've already obliterated the AH with my fish. I can catch prob like 1500 fish a day along with about 200 - 300 Volatile water, which go for like 20G a pop on my server.

The program isn't very smart, like, its not gonna scan for fishing pools or anything, but it will let you sit for hours at a time and continually get strikes, while missing maybe 1% of the time. Not only that it will reapply my fishing hat lure every 10 minutes so I'm always capped.

If anyone wants to turn it into an executable and modify to make more user friendly I'd be cool with it, all I ask is I get a 'Very Special Thanks to Mike the Fishmonger'. With that being said, Mr. Opie, based on the information I saw re: your bot it seems to be a billion times more involving than my meager 30 lines of code, so with that, I applaud you. However, many people seem to be having difficulties with it, and I'm guessing it's due to the complex nature of your program. Maybe you can find a way to incorporate some of what I've done into your work?
