Its all smoke and mirrors PROBLEM,, YOUR USB STICK IS WRITE PROTECTED THE FIX: mount the stick or drive letter as a volume on another NTFS partition on another hard drive. Create a folder and point to your stick, go to your NTFS hard drive and right click on the folder you have just created in that ntfs partition, hit properties, in the General tab look at the attribute section,, should be the last section in that window.
