I got the Humble Bundle recently with the 80s and Hip Hop Beats editions. Installed the basic Music Maker, activated the two editions. But every time I close and re-open the software I have to re-download my purchased soundpools.

It doesn't seem to be saving them. (Edit: This seems to be fixed by 'Rescan Soundpools, but I shouldn't be required to do that.) And my two instruments from the editions are showing with padlocks, asking me to 'activate' them. I've tried copying and pasting the serial numbers from my account to re-activate the instruments and that didn't work. Sorry if I seem impatient, but I expected this program to work correctly. I've spent two days just trying to get it to work.

The hoops I've had to jump through to get this program to work are unbelievable. I have yet to be able to actually make anything because it simply won't get on the same page with me. Edit: I just found this thread through Google while trying to solve my problem- So, I'm now at the point where if I close and re-open the program, I have to rescan soundpools and I have to go into the store to access my instruments. Looks like I'm getting closer to a solution, but still not solved.

Edit: And now a bit closer. I discovered that if you click on the plus sign on the far left of a track, the activated instruments can be selected there.

This saves me from having to scroll through the store. Now I just gotta fix the soundpool problem. You'll have to forgive me as I had just spent almost three days trying to get the software to work properly and was beyond frustrated. I do appreciate you trying to help. I've gotten over the soundpool thing (which really are paid samples, as you can't do anything with them, even non-commercial, without purchasing the unlimited versions). I've since found another source for sound loops, so them disappearing and needing rescanning every time I fire up MM has become a moot issue.

Programma abc 4 klyuchi. I may eventually get an unlimited pack (when I can afford it), but I have plenty from the other source for now. Nevertheless, I have 15 soundpools that are useless to me for the time being. And when I made that comment, the area where MM does appear to be useful (that being the instruments) wasn't working properly (and still isn't, as the two instruments redeemed through the editions still appear locked in my library). But figuring out a workaround where I can access and use them has cast a silver lining over the dark cloud that had begun to make me regret making the purchase. You'll have to forgive me as I had just spent almost three days trying to get the software to work properly and was beyond frustrated... That is understandable - after 3 days struggling with a program it can be very difficult to maintain ones sanity and not throw the PC out the nearest window...
