Hi folks, August seems to have been a somewhat troubled month (more so than normal) for Windows updates. I am running a WSUS server patching Windows 7 and Windows 10 systems. My issue is this: I am wanting to avoid installing the broken beginning of the month update and only install the 'fix update' which is. KB4039396 is not appearing on my WSUS server as it seems that glorious Microsoft decided to only post the 'fixed/fixer update' as a manually obtained update via the Microsoft Update Catalog. Right now I am planning on pushing the update out via Group Policy but I would rather keep updates in WSUS. Is there a way to manually load KB4039396 into my WSUS server in order to push it out to all of my systems?
