It is FINALLY time to share our dream Aspen wedding!! I can’t think of a better way to wrap up 2017 than sharing the most special weekend of my life! Everything about the weekend was a dream come true from having all of our closest friends and family in our favorite place to officially making it official. It was truly a fairy tale weekend. The wedding day began with makeup and hair for the ladies at my parents Aspen home where we enjoyed champagne and a catered lunch. Guests found dinner seating assignments on a greenery wall with marble plaques with each name written in calligraphy. Following the cocktail hour, we all moved next door to the reception venue. Greenery walls surrounded the room and a warm fire greeted guests along with a bar with a custom neon sign we had made that read “Crazy Love” which also was the song Carey and I chose as our first dance song. Once guests were seated for dinner, the speeches began.

We had both of my parents speak as well as Corina, my Maid of Honor, and JT, Carey’s Best Man. The speeches were off the charts hilarious! We then had our first dances and cut the cake.

The bride’s cake was a delicious white and caramel cream cake while Carey’s chocolate cake was a cute Aspen bear holding a pot of gummy bears because Carey is known for his crazy addiction gummy bears. Following the cake cutting, I changed into my next gown, another custom dress made by Dennis Basso. I came back to the Hora beginning, which is a common dance that kicks of Jewish receptions. We were lifted in chairs while people danced and cheered. It was definitely one of the highlights of the evening and led into everyone dancing the night away!

We exited with fire sparklers along the path back to the gondola where a cute “Just Married” sign had been placed on our gondola car. Guests were gifted champagne gummy bears and chocolate caramels from Sugarfina as they boarded the gondola. We officially ended the night at which is Aspen’s most popular late night spot. It was the cherry on top of an already perfect night. I couldn’t have dreamed of a more perfect wedding weekend!
