There are only going to be 250 of these “Wherever I May Roam Black Tickets,” and they’ll go on sale with the rest of the tour later this week (Friday, March 2 to the general public after several pre-sales). This leg of the of the WorldWired arena tour focuses on markets Metallica missed last year, so it features plenty of less-traveled locales Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and both Dakotas.

For a diehard living somewhere in the Great Plains, maybe this is your lucky day. They’re all floor tickets, and the only other stipulation is you’d have to notify the venue at least 48 hours in advance of every date you attend. The $598 asking price is a reference to the re-release of Metallica’s $5.98 E.P.: Garage Days Re-Revisited. And if it sounds expensive, think again: Going to just four of the 34 shows gets your money’s worth, as floor tickets are around $145 (plus fees) for each show. The 1987 covers collection hits stores again this April, while Metallica’s main promotional focus remains its 2016 studio album, Hardwired to Self-Destruct.

Metallica Announce 2018 North American Tour Metallica has announced a lengthy U.S. Arena tour that kicks off this fall in Madison, Wisconsin. The 2018 WorldWired tour dates follows the band’s tenth studio album Hardwiredto Self-Destruct, which was nominated for a 2018 Grammy Award for Best Rock Album.
